HJS Comments: I found this clarion call in my inbox this morning and decided to post it with a few minor changes in spelling, format, and grammar (not all grammar; some grammatical errors do not warrant “fixing”.) I also added a relevant expression in two places.
We do have American agencies who are supposed to be looking out for us, and those agencies have programs that are designed to help when someone is left out. Unfortunately, many programs have reached a point in which they are no longer helpful and should be replaced; however, no one seems interested in ending any such programs and be accused of murdering our seniors, taking milk from babies, putting people on the street, and being called other canned epithets including the one that covers everything—racist!
Perhaps the American people’s distrust of much of its leadership requires much more transparency than the present chief executive promised and is willing to provide. Perhaps the Democratic Party in the spirit of prudent transparency should return to their pre-FDR roots and chase their ultra-leftists into their own respective foreign-based parties (Socialist and Communist) to stop their masquerading as pro-American “democrats” under the wide Democrat umbrella that FDR gave them. Republicans and Democrats should be closer than they are politically. Do the socialists and communists make the terrible difference? One-World government is not an American dream; it is another nightmare from Europe--something like the European Union or North American Union, the wackos who hate borders.
Entitlement Baloney! I paid cash for my social security insurance! Just because our leaders borrowed the money, it doesn't make my benefits some kind of charity or handouts! Congressional benefits include free healthcare , outrageous retirement packages , 67 paid holidays , three weeks paid vacation , unlimited paid sick days , etc., now that's welfare, and they have the nerve to call my retirement “entitlements”!
What the HELL's wrong?

Tuesday's Daily Bulletin ran two articles on the front page side by side:

2. The California Supreme Court ruling
that ILLEGALS can attend college and receive benefits (It is said we cannot
deport them because we can’t get them all together. Why not deport them as they
register?)
Last year an article discussed the yearly costs to California taxpayers from ILLEGALS using Hospital Emergency Rooms for their general health care – At just one hospital the cost to the taxpayers totaled more than $25 million per year.
Tell me, just what is wrong with all the people who run this country?
When it comes to helping our own seniors, veterans, orphans, homeless, etc., we’re broke—broke! Yet we have found the money to provide aid to Haiti, Chile, Turkey, Japan, Libya, Palestine, and Pakistan—and I suspect some of that money went to Bin Laden and others of his ilk. If we are mission billions of dollars, guess where it went?
Our retired seniors living on a 'fixed income' receive no aid and get no breaks, while our government and religious organizations pour Hundreds of Billions of our declining-value dollars and Tons of Food into Foreign Countries!
They call Social Security and Medicare an entitlement for us, even though most of us have been paying for it all our working lives and now when its time for us to collect, the government is running out of our money. Why did the government borrow from it in the first place? There oughta be a law!
We have hundreds of adoptable American children who are shoved aside to make room for the adoption of foreign orphans. Someone said it is too difficult to adopt American children. Why? Is there a prejudice against American adoptive parents? They don’t like Christians, or Jews, or mixed marriages (men and women)? Why aren’t American orphans our priority?
AMERICA: it seems to be a country where we have homeless without shelter, children going to bed hungry, elderly going without 'needed' meds, and mentally ill without treatment, etc.
YET.....................
They have a 'Benefit' for the people of Haiti and Japan on 12 TV stations, ships and planes lining up with food, water, tents clothes, bedding, doctors and medical supplies.
Imagine if the *GOVERNMENT* gave 'US' the same support they give to other countries.
Sad isn't it?
