Systemic Hatred By HJS

I received an email from a friend, who received a call from a friend working in Egypt. One of the families among his friends there is a Coptic Christian family. Radicals visited his home last week and took everything of value. Unsatisfied, they dragged him from his home into the streets, where they beheaded him. His wife and two children may have seen the murder. I did not want to ask.

Such lawlessness is not new in Egypt, especially between the radical Muslims and the Coptic Christians. Many families are experiencing similar terror and many are simply raped and beaten and banished from the area while the radicals seize their homes for themselves. The Coptic Priests do not escape the brutality; another priest was beheaded recently.

NOTE: We have covered similar situations more than once in these pages and these verses should be familiar by now. If you were to ask how Allah feels about people who are not Muslims, here is what we must believe from the Quran:

“Indeed, the worst of living creatures in the sight of Allah
are those who have disbelieved, and they will not [ever] believe.” (Chapter 8, verse 55)

“Therefore, those who disbelieve in Our verses (reject the
Quran)—We will drive them into a fire. Every time their skins are roasted through We will replace them with other skins so they may taste the punishment. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted in Might and Wise. (Chapter 4:56)

What are we supposed to think when the people of one religion believes that the people of other religions are hated by God to such a degree that horrible punishments are justified for those unbelievers in this world as well as the next, and they appear to be taking such actions? It seems to me that a special program in the United Nations should have already been at work to reconcile this situation. Will they? Don't bet on it! So, what needs to be done? Will it take a brain surgeon to figure it out? I hope not!
