Another Day Another Failed Business For AZGOP Transition Team Chief Pantsless Mark Spinks

The first time I ever saw Mark Spinks (who is currently serving as the Arizona Republican Party's "Transition Team Chief") was at a CD-5 candidate forum back when he was running for Congress.


His stump speech went something like this (I'm paraphrasing):

"I lost my house, I lost my job, I lost my business, I've been bankrupt, I lost my wife, my dog ran away, I'm at rock bottom. Oh, and Obamacare is bad. Vote for me."

It was quite surreal. (At least he didn't dwell on his extensive criminal record.)


Well, it looks like rock bottom has found Mr. Spinks again.


One of our readers sent in the following snapshots after driving by Mark's business office (called Oracle Realty & Investment, LLC) and noticing that it seemed to be closed.

It reads, in part:

NOTICE OF RE-ENTY AND LANDLORD'S LIEN


Due to the tenant's failure to pay rent and breach of the Lease, the landlord of these premises has re-entered and taken possession thereof, pursuant to the A.R.S. 33-361(A).


Further, the landlord has a lien upon and has siezed any personal property located on the premesis to secure payment of rent pursuant to A.R.S. 33-361 (D) and 33-362.

And, to complete the picture, here's the snapshot of the door, which lists Mark Spinks as the designated broker, and also his specialties: Short Sales, Foreclosures, and Property Management. (I included that for the irony.)



I have a few thoughts on this.


First, it's a good thing that the AZGOP has someone on the staff that has extensive first hand knowledge about how this process works. That way, when they come to close down AZGOP HQ for failure to pay the rent, they'll know what to expect.


Second, I'd love to hear the story that Marky Mark is telling his groupies like LD20 Chair Jeni White. "No baby, it's not what it looks like. It's just a misunderstanding." The guy is really good at making excuses.


Third, and this is the most important part: IF YOU DONATE MONEY TO THE ARIZONA REPUBLICAN PARTY, YOUR MONEY WILL GO TO PAY THIS CREEP. And if there's any money left over after paying criminals Mark Spinks and Brett Mecum, those same criminals will be in charge of spending that leftover money.


If you are a Republican in Arizona, why would you donate your hard-earned money to this cast of criminal clowns?


And finally, I'm not a lawyer, and I don't even play one on TV, so I can't speak to how the law works in this situation. But, I would like to let the good people at Va Bene Plaza know that Mr. Spinks has already incorporated another business, Arizona Liberty Project, LLC. They just recently sponsored a fundraiser, which I'm sure raised at least $50. I'm not sure if you can go after this new corporation to get the rent you're owed, but it may be worth a try.
