Please do not keep Brett Mecum on as Executive Director of the State Republican Party. This man has proven time and time again that he is immature, rude, and an embarrassment to the party. A recent post on the Arizona blog Politico Mafioso urged the RNC not to hire him, below. I have heard about his antics for years and find him to be a misogynist who cannot control his impulses. He is extremely offensive to women --- a big reason many women won't volunteer for the State Republican Party. He is vindictive towards many activists who he has turned into enemies, including several of my friends. There are plenty of young people who would make a better Executive Director. Please find someone else. Mr. Mecum is too divisive and offensive for our party, and who knows what he will do next to embarrass us?

One matter we would like to bring up to Chairman Priebus is the fact that numerous sources tell us that the RNC is about to hire soon-to-be former AZ GOP Executive Director BRETT MECUM! We have received many phone calls & e-mails concerning this and would like to share one of these with you:

Are the Republicans in charge of the Republican National Committee out of their flippin minds? They’re hiring self-described “bad boy of the GOP” Brett Mecum, a notorious womanizer who became (in)famous for simulating sex acts onTheDirty.com dressed as Captain America,criminal speeding, and stalking!!!!! We can’t wait to get rid of him in Arizona!
Our boy Brett served two scandal-plagued terms as Executive Director of the Arizona Republican Party under Chairman Randy Pullen. Pullen ran away from running for reelection this year – guess why? The BAGGAGE of our boy Brett had gotten too heavy, sources say. Our boy is trying to sneak his way into the RNC since nobody wants him in Arizona.
This boy doesn’t deserve a PROMOTION.
Let’s go over the reasons why:
- Our boy drove 109 mph in the middle of the night on a Thursday night in a 65 mph zone (obviously drunk, who else would have done something that stupid). Even though our boy was arrested for criminally speeding, his connections got him placed in the only Justice Court in the county where the judge throws out all photo radar tickets!! (Read more)
- Our boy criminally used Voter Vault to locate a hot babe’s address, then stalked her. The babe filed a criminal complaint against him with the Sheriff. She wrote, ”He is rather creepy and intimidating around women.” (Read more)
- Our boy spent Halloween a few nights before one of the biggest elections ever in 2008 taking photos of himself simulating sex acts with women who were wearing barely anything except McCain-Palin bumperstickers. (Read more)
- Our boy and his roomies were labeled “The Drunk Republicans” for behaving like sloppy drunks and hitting on all the babes at a Republican networking group. His roomies were on the board of directors for the group and were voted off for being leches. Their house was nicknamed “The HO-tel California for obvious reasons.
Are those enough reasons not to hire this imbecile?
One of the most popular conservative blogs in Arizona, Sonoran Alliance, said that our boy should not be in leadership.
Reince Priebus, do the right thing and spare the rest of the country from this totally putrid embarrassment! You’ve seen what he has done in Arizona, imagine that kind of behavior magnified 10 times in the national media! The Democrats will use his “bad boy” behavior to destroy us in 2012!
