Peggy Neely Doubles Donations in Exploratory Effort

Neely Doubles Donations in Exploratory Effort

End of Year Finance Report and Strong January Fundraising Nets Nearly $230,000

Phoenix – The Exploratory Committee for Neely for Mayor has raised nearly $230,000 in support of Councilwoman Peggy Neely’s exploration of a potential run for Mayor. In the “January Report” filed today, it shows that the committee raised nearly $104,000 through the end of the year.

Since then, the committee has more than doubled that amount when Neely’s “Phoenix Rising” event raised nearly $125,000 in a single night. Combined with her end-of-the-year report, Neely’s exploratory committee has now raised nearly $230,000 with support coming from all parts of Phoenix.

“I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the committee. Everywhere I go, I am pleased to find people who want to help me and are speaking out about the Phoenix we want,” said Peggy Neely, “This represents a great start but is only the beginning when it comes to funding a potential campaign for Mayor in America’s 5th largest city. I am looking forward to continuing to reach out to the community.”

Not until she's done greasing her friends pockets by funneling a $40 million dollar road to a Westcor development - http://www.sonorancitizens.com/
