MARTY HERMANSON LYING ABOUT HIS SUPPORT OF SEN. JOHN McCAIN!
At a tele-townhall meeting last night, State GOP Chairman candidate MARTY HERMANSON said 8 separate times that he did NOT endorse Sen. John McCain. BS! We have the documents that prove he did endorse & back McCain.
Here is an e-mail sent by Hermanson during the Hearings for now Supreme Court Justice Sotomayor:
From: Marty Hermanson <martyhermanson@yahoo.com>
Date: Wed, Aug 5, 2009 at 10:43 AM
Subject: Re: FLOOR STATEMENT BY SENATOR JOHN McCAIN ON THE NOMINATION OF JUDGE SONYA SOTOMAYOR TO SERVE AS A JUSTICE ON THE SUPREME COURT
Way to go Senator McCain. Judge Sotomayor will more than likely win her nomination to the Supreme Court, but at least the Senator is on record against it. I wish we had more LEADERS like Senator McCain. Travis, I will be stopping by today to meet with Jane. I hope to see you then.
Thanks,
Marty Hermanson
Chairman
Pinal County Republican Party
480-440-4050
We also have the call lists from the campaign:
JSM Call List 6-4-2009
Marty Hermanson 480-440-4050: thank for endorsement. Missed previous call. Thank for distributing petition packets at Saturday’s GOP county chairman’s meeting.
Nice try Marty! We have many more documents to show Hermanson's support of Senator McCain.
Are They Gonna Try 'PULLEN' A Fast One on Saturday?
Now that BRUCE ASH has dropped out of the race for AZ GOP Chairman, the Far Right has been scrambling to find a replacement.
Rumors still persist that current Chairman RANDY PULLEN will be nominated and run from the floor. Pullen, who was defeated last week in his run for re-election as the RNC Treasurer, was appointed as a State Committeman at the MCRC convention last week (no surprise, the MCRC loves to "make-up" rules in order to win).
The FR tried to get numerous people to run including Sen Scott Bundgaard (LD-4) & Robert Graham, former candidate for Governor in 2010!
(Breaking News: Robert Graham Announces for AZ GOP Chairman! we spoke with Graham yesterday afternoon, at that point he was leaning 'against' running. Funny thing, sources tell PM Graham is NOT a PC or State Committeman, so how can he run for Chair?)
Now they have 'anointed' TOM MORRISSEY to run for Chairman. Morrissey, failed candidate for Chairman in LD-20, has the backing of:
- Senator Russell Pearce
- Thayer Verschoor, Executive Director, Pachyderm Coalition
- Don Goldwater, Chairman, Pachyderm Coalition
- Diane Douglas, Secretary, Pachyderm Coalition, Peoria School Board
- Sal DiCiccio, Phoenix City Councilman
- Rob & Marne Haney
That about says it all. All the same Wackos who endorsed J.D. Hayworth for Senate in 2010! Their endorsements really helped JD didn't they?
We have been flooded with phone calls & e-mails about Morrissey (all negative). Seems he has an ex-wife who is 'spilling the beans' on him. The Sonoran Alliance removed comments on a post about Morrissey (for a while this morning the SA account was suspended for what I don't know). Who turned in the Sonoran Alliance? Even thought we do not always agree with SA, we believe in their right of Free Speech. Whoever tried to take the Sonoran Alliance down needs to be identified.
Why don't they get the 'King of the Wackos' ROB HANEY to run for State Chairman? We all know the answer to that!
JERRY WEIERS TO RUN FOR PHOENIX CITY COUNCIL?
Reliable sources tell PM that LD-12 REP. JERRY WEIERS is seriously considering running for the Phoenix City Council!
Weiers would run for the seat in District 5 being vacated by CLAUDE MADDOX who is running for Mayor.
Weiers is well known in the area and could easily win this race!
Stay Tuned on this.....
RICK DeGRAW RAISING $$$ FOR PHOENIX MAYORAL CANDIDATE WES GULLETT?
Sources tell PM that RICK DeGRAW, former campaign director for Eddie Basha, is now the chief fundraiser for Phoenix Mayoral candidate WES GULLETT. DeGraw was involved in the AZSCAM scandal in the 1990's!

I think you must be a creator to create these type of blogs, and i am particularly want to say that you are awesome. The explanation of the posting make me to think for while anyway thanks for making me to think.Well written my favorite blog.classic collections.I loved your blog so i have added your blog to my dazzling blog list at http://auditions-for-all.blogspot.com/
So would you put my blog too, on you...
This post is a bit distressing in its lack of respect and bending of the truth.
Marty Hermanson did NOT endorse John McCain, JD Hayworth, or Jim Deakin. Shane Wikfors today posted that he was very impressed how Marty would constantly make sure that JD was able to get a fair shake in Pinal County. Marty was assuming a stance of neutrality and helping all three Senate candidates with promoting their campaigns in Pinal. And saying that "John McCain is a great leader" is not an endorsement - I think Marty is a great leader and yet I am supporting Ron Carmichael because I feel he is the best man for the state GOP job - but that doesn't detract from my respect for Marty.
Also, while Politico Mafioso's defense of Sonoran Alliance on principle is admirable, it is regretably inaccurate. The outage at SA was not related to the Tom Morrissey controversy.
Finally, to describe a dedicated Republican and fair man such as Thayer Verschoor as a "wacko" is not only rude but counter productive. To the best of my knowledge, Thayer did NOT endorse JD Hayworth. And, even if he did, Thayer has also shown a willingness to work with John McCain on issues of mutual interest. Thayer has always been one of the most respectful, fair men I've ever met in politics, and deserves better than the term "wacko".
I do agree that the charges against Tom Morrissey are very troubling and that until they are properly explored he should not be a candidate for any office. The charges may very well be false, but a normal campaign and vetting process would have revealed that. In this case, the proper thing for Morrissey to do would be to step aside for the good of the Party. Should he be vinidicated, he would have greater respect the next time around.
Scalabrese,
I have seen all the documents, Marty did endorse Senator McCain. The only reason he is denying it is the fact that the 'so-called conservatives' hate McCain & Kyl.
As far of the 'outage' yesterday, please explain why they were taken down? I got half a dozen phone calls about this and when I went to the site I got THIS MESSAGE
I will ALWAYS defend ANY blogger on issues like that. I will get to the bottom of this & will defend Shane if he was wronged.
Lastly, your synopsis on Morrissey is spot on. If he is elected, the AZ GOP will certainly have some problems. The national media will be all over that story.
I have seen plenty of evidence of Marty saying nice things about McCain, and helping his campaign function in Pinal County - but also I heard Marty offered campaign assistence to Deakin & Hayworth as well. A formal endorsement would usually be very public and could not be "concealed".
As for Sonoran Alliance, I spoke with Shane about this last night at the LD 18/19/22 function, and SA was the target of a denial of service attack originating from out of state. Being the former owner of an ISP, I take great pleasure in provoking Shane into discussions as to how SA can be improved.
As long as we're on the subject of improving political websites, is there any way you can delete that "Auditions for All" spam on this message thread...and improve the font readability?
Forgive me, looking at your comment again I realized I answered it incompletely as I did not address the "Account Suspended" window you referenced.
Specifically, the DoS attack against SA - which is hosted on a "virtual host" where several domains share the same server - triggered a bandwidth overload that shut down the account until a human could intervene. The web host then proceeded to block the attack at the router level. This is why the blurb said "Account Suspended" until such time as the DoS could be dealt with, as the attack was impacting the performance of other websites on the same host.
Thanks for clarifying. This is one reason I keep PM on 'Blogger'.
I will do what I can to fix the 'font'. If you notice, I use larger fonts in the blog so my 'older' readers can see.
