Franks Tribute to Representative Gabby Giffords
January 12, 2011 — Congressman Franks (AZ-02) spoke on the Floor of the House of Representatives this morning during consideration of a resolution condemning the tragic shooting in Tucson, AZ and honoring the victims, including Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords (AZ-08). Following are Congressman Franks' remarks as prepared.

Congressman Franks is serving his fifth term in the U.S. House of Representatives, and is a member of the Committee on Armed Services, Strategic Forces Subcommittee, Oversight & Investigations Subcommittee, Military Readiness Subcommittee, Committee on the Judiciary, the Subcommittee on Commercial and Administrative Law, and is chairman of the Constitution Subcommittee.
