3 Strikes, Time to Throw the Garbage Out
For Immediate Release
Tuesday, October 26th, 2010.
Tucson, AZ -- Three times. Three times now the Arizona Daily Star has corrected Raul Grijalva and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee regarding their misrepresentation of Ruth McClung's positions. Yet, the lies continue ad nauseum on local television and litter mailboxes around the district.
And it's not like the Arizona Daily Star is biased in Ms. McClung's favor. Still the advertising running against Ms. McClung is so egregiously false, that you can read the articles for yourself here. And here. And again here.
Lacking any legitimate ground to attack Ms. McClung from, all the DCCC and Mr. Grijalva seem to have left are lies. What next? Was Ms. McClung responsible 9-11? No? Maybe she killed Kennedy.

Schweikert Campaign Releases Two New Ads
(Scottsdale, AZ) With less than 7 days until Arizonans go to the polls, David Schweikert’s campaign releases two powerful new ads.
The first ad features Senator John McCain and highlights the endorsement of the Arizona Republic newspaper.

“David Schweikert is the candidate we trust to fight for Arizona, rein in government spending, lower taxes, and strengthen our economy,” said Sen. John McCain.
“A change is needed,” wrote the Arizona Republic Editorial Board. “Schweikert, a Republican, has the talents and outlook that will be needed in the next Congress.” The Arizona Republic endorsed David Schweikert over incumbent Congressman Mitchell, after two terms of a Congressman who has become out of touch with our community’s needs and interests of the voters.
The second ad has already been called one of the most powerful ads in the country.

ICYMI: Gun Owners of America Endorses Paul Gosar for Congress
PRESCOTT, AZ – Today, Gun Owners of America (GOA) endorsed Dr. Paul Gosar because of his commitment to gun owners and sportsmen. GOA stated that Liberal Ann Kirkpatrick is “just another vote for anti-gun Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.”
Here is the announcement from Gun Owners of America:

Gun Owners of America Endorses Paul Gosar for Congress
Gun Owners of America Political Victory Fund is proud to endorse Paul Gosar for Congress in Arizona's First District.
Paul Gosar, who has owened his own dental practice for twenty-five years, earned an "A" rating from GOA for his commitment to oppose any new gun control laws and to work to roll back unconstitutional gun laws already on the books.
His opponent, Ann Kirkpatrick, is just another vote for anti-gun Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.
Twice in 2009, Kirkpatrick voted against protecting gun rights in national parks.
She also supported Pelosi in passing the massive ObamaCare bill, despite concerns that the legislation could allow federal agents to use your medical records as a way to strip you of your Second Amendment rights without a trial.
And Kirkpatrick voted for the unconstitutional DISCLOSE Act, which would limit the free speech of groups like GOA by making it illegal to publish information about an incumbent's voting record in the months leading up to an election.
The choice for gun owners and sportsmen in Arizona is clear. Paul Gosar will protect and defend the Second Amendment against any and all of the gun control schemes of Nancy Pelosi and her allies in Congress.
Paul believes, with America's Founding Fathers, that "Our right to keep and bear arms provides protection of our Constitutional rights and liberties."
GOA encourages gun owners and sportsmen to support Paul Gosar with their volunteer efforts and financial support. Anti-gunners will spend millions to keep Kirkpatrick in office, so we need to make sure Paul has the means to get his message out to the voters in this last week before the election.
Please visit http://www.gosarforcongress.com today to contact Paul and to make a financial contribution.
And most importantly, if you live in Arizona's First Congressional District, please make sure you and all of your pro-gun family and friends vote for Paul Gosar on November 2.
Sincerely,
Tim Macy
Vice-Chairman
