National Rifle Association Endorses Senator John McCain For Re-Election

“John McCain has consistently voted against gun and ammunition bans in the U.S. Senate. This along with his commitment to preserving our hunting heritage has earned him the NRA-PVF’s endorsement.” -- Chris W. Cox, Chairman, National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund

NRA-PVF Endorses John McCain for U.S. Senate

Fairfax, Va.-- The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is endorsing John McCain (R-Ariz.) for re-election to the U.S. Senate this November.

“John McCain has consistently voted against gun and ammunition bans in the U.S. Senate,” said Chris W. Cox, chairman of NRA-PVF.
"This along with his commitment to preserving our hunting heritage has earned him the NRA-PVF’s endorsement.”

Sen. McCain voted to end reckless lawsuits against gun manufacturers and to prohibit gun confiscation from law-abiding Americans during states of emergency. He is leading the fight to restore self-defense rights in Washington, D.C. through his introduction of the Second Amendment Enforcement Act.

McCain signed the pro-gun congressional amicus brief to the U.S. Supreme Court in support of the individual right to keep and bear arms in the historic Heller case. He also signed the congressional amicus brief stating that the Second Amendment guarantees a fundamental right that applies to all Americans, no matter where
they live, in the McDonald case.

Sen. McCain continues to be a strong voice in fighting ongoing efforts by the United Nations to dismantle the Second Amendment.

Cox continued, “We ask all Arizona gun-owners and hunters to re-elect John McCain to the U.S. Senate on November 2nd.”

NRA

Established in 1871, the National Rifle Association is America’s oldest civil rights and sportsmen's group. Four million members strong, NRA continues its mission to uphold Second Amendment rights and to advocate enforcement of existing laws against violent offenders to reduce crime. The Association remains the nation's leader in firearm education and training for law-abiding gun owners, law enforcement and the military.

Great job on the site.

I set up a new site to help us little bloggers compete with the big news houses, it's http://www.azblogcentral.com. I mean one blogger can't gather news like a big team of 'journalists' can, but together we can rule the proverbial galaxy :)

It pulls short excerpts from the sites and links to the original posts. Hopefully it'll help you get more readers, and me too, I run several of the blogs that the site pulls from.

Thanks again.
