PHOENIX –– The support for Governor Jan Brewer continues to grow across the state of Arizona. Today, the Governor Jan Brewer 2010 committee announced the launch of local committees across the state committed to supporting Governor Brewer’s bid for a second term.
“The support for Governor Brewer is deep and wide across the state,” said Maricopa County Co-Chair Kathy Hedges, “She is the only candidate who understands that we must stop the budget spending spree, live within our means, and balance our budget. She has made the tough choices to return Arizona to economic prosperity.”
“I am proud to stand with Governor Brewer against President Obama, Terry Goddard, and those who are boycotting our state,” said
Yuma County Republican Chairman Phil Townsend, “She continues to do what is right to protect the citizens and secure the border.”
“I’m standing with Jan because the democrat plans to ‘make’ work for people and continue to spend taxpayer dollars to grow government is the wrong direction,” said Mohave County Supervisor Buster Johnson, “Governor Brewer understands that we must reduce the burdens on business and allow them to create jobs, instead of the government creating jobs.”
The campaign announced a local campaign committee in each county with local co-chairs and the growing list of supporters who have signed up in support. The complete list of the local campaigns for support can be found at www.JanBrewer.com.
