CARDINALS CUT MATT LEINART!

The Arizona Cardinals today cut former Heisman Trophy award winner Matt Leinart!

Leinart, the #10 pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, was NEVER Coach Ken Whisenhunt's 'Guy'. Remember he was drafted by Dennis Green when he was the Cards coach.

In my opinion, Derek Anderson is NOT the answer. Last year he completed only 40% of his passes. Max Hall, the 24 year old BYU un-drafted rookie, is now the #2 QB.

I really like Max, he will be the starter, probably sooner than later.
But to rely on a journeyman (Anderson) & 2 rookies as your QB's, Ken Whisenhunt is taking a HUGE chance.
Look for Leinart to end up in Seattle with his former college coach Pete Carroll. Our luck he will come back and haunt us. I hope Whisenhunt is right. This is his choice and he will have to live with the results.

Last year Anderson was throwing to two guys who can't catch a thing. Having Fitz, Bres, Williams and Doucet will be a huge improvement. Cards will be fine.

Andrew I sure hope your right. I just don't think Anderson is very accurate. He doesn't have the 'touch' most QB's have. He has a great arm, but that doesn't always gain results.

That said, Max Hall might just be the Cardinals QB of the Future. He will get to play this season. Let's Go Cardinals!
