HORNE CALLS ON ROTELLINI TO RETURN $4,176 TO GROUP CALLING FOR ARIZONA BOYCOTT

Republican Attorney General nominee Tom Horne is calling on Felicia Rotellini to return $4,176 contributed to her campaign by the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 99 Political Action Committee, a group which called for the boycott of Arizona over S.B. 1070.

He added,
"Felicia Rotellini has already gone on record as opposing S.B. 1070 and it is troubling that she enjoys the support of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union, which has actively called for an economic boycott of Arizona. Not only is such a boycott devastating to our state's already-struggling economy, but out-of-state unions should not be trying to influence the enforcement of our laws through economic coercion. I believe Ms. Rotellini, if she is serious about enforcing the law, should repudiate the support of any organization, including the UCFW that is targeting Arizona economically."

"As someone who has operated my own law firm, met a payroll and helped to create jobs, I intend to foster a legal environment that will bring more jobs to Arizona," Horne said.
