PHOENIX LAW ENFORCEMENT ASSOCIATION (PLEA) ENDORSES SENATOR JOHN McCAIN FOR RE-ELECTION

PHOENIX, AZ -- U.S. Senator John McCain’s re-election campaign today announced that the Phoenix Law Enforcement Association (PLEA) has endorsed Senator John McCain for re-election. PLEA represents more than 2,500 sworn officers of the Phoenix Police Department.

“We are proud to support Senator John McCain for re-election,” said Mark Spencer, President of PLEA. “Senator McCain has a long record of standing up for the law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line every day to keep our families safe. From the U.S. Navy to the U.S. Senate, John McCain has always served causes greater than his own self-interest -- the same commitment that our officers make on the beat each and every day.”

“I am proud to have the support of the PLEA, which represents more than 2,500 sworn Phoenix police officers,” said Senator John McCain. “Police officers who put their lives on the line every day to keep our communities safe exemplify what it means to put service over self. They deserve not only our deepest gratitude, but the resources to get the job done. I look forward to continuing our work together to keep Arizona families safe and secure.”
