STATEMENT ON HAYWORTH'S ATTACK ON THE BUSH FAMILY

PHOENIX, AZ -- As
The Arizona Republic reported this morning, Congressman J.D. Hayworth launched an unprovoked, personal attack against the Bush family during an appearance on a Baltimore radio station last week, saying, “The sad fact about the Bush family is this stubborn notion of noblesse oblige, combined with verbal dyslexia.”

In response to Congressman Hayworth’s inexplicable attack on the Bush family, McCain 2010 Communications Director Brian Rogers released the following statement:

“Congressman Hayworth just recently tried to smear Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu as a racist. Now, Congressman Hayworth is
calling the Bush family entitled and stupid. “Congressman Hayworth is a pathetic, desperate man who apparently feels a compulsive need to malign anyone he views as a political opponent -- even if that means echoing liberal smears against a respected lawman like Sheriff Babeu or joining the left-wing ‘Blame It On Bush’ brigades.

Congressman Hayworth is going to lose this race, and it’s sad that he’s going down with such little dignity.”

FACT CHECK: HAYWORTH’S ATTACK ON BUSH FAMILY

The Arizona Republic Today: Congressman Hayworth Attacked Bush Family During Radio Appearance Last Week, Saying “The Sad Fact About The Bush Family Is This Stubborn Notion Of Noblesse Oblige, Combined With Verbal Dyslexia.”

“It's not uncommon to hear Obama or other Democrats continue to criticize the policies and legacy of former President George W. Bush. But Republican Senate challenger J.D. Hayworth also took some swipes at the former commander-in-chief during an interview on Baltimore radio station WCBM. Hayworth, a former Arizona congressman now running against Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., said Bush ‘was dead wrong on the border’ and recounted a conversation he had with Bush on Air Force One in which the president scolded Hayworth for lecturing him about border enforcement. ‘The sad fact about the Bush family is this stubborn notion of noblesse oblige, combined with verbal dyslexia,’ Hayworth said.

In November 2005, Hayworth caused a national stir by telling Don Imus, then on MSNBC, that he wouldn't want Bush to campaign for him in Arizona at that time.” (Dan Nowicki, The Arizona Republic The Arizona Republic , 8/8/10) ·

Maybe coming from JD, verbal dyslexia is better then his way of lying??? JD would not know the truth if it hit him in the head. JD has lies all over his campaign and they have not even stopped. If you factcheck. every one of his statements, you will find out who many times the guy lies when he opens his mouth!
