In Case You Missed It: Congressman Trent Franks (AZ-02) appeared on Fox News’ America’s Newsroom to address the Obama Administration’s mishandling of the situation on America’s southern border. Regarding ICE Assistant Secretary John Morton’s visit to the border, Franks said that Morton was trying to put the best face possible on an administration that is “out to lunch” on border security.
Franks noted that he, along with Senators McCain and Kyl, had requested 6,000 troops for the border. The President instead offered
1,200 by August 1st, but has failed to deliver on even that modest
promise.
