Politics on the Rocks is always looking to help support local charities. We have teamed up with the Salvation Army in efforts to raise awareness for the proposed new Kroc Center which will be approximately 130,000 square feet with additional sports utility fields and will offer services and programs for all age groups, from young toddlers to senior citizens, and catering to entire families. The primary areas of focus will be: the Arts, Recreation, Education, Spiritual Guidance and Wellness. The new Kroc Community Center will open in late Fall 2011.
The Salvation Army needs our help on securing the remaining $3.5 million in order to complete the campaign and will need support from the community to reach that goal. The Phoenix Kroc project was recently awarded a “challenge grant” for the last $3.5 million, with every dollar raised within the community being matched by the Kroc grant with an additional dollar – so the amazing 4 to 1 match will now grow even more! For more information on the Kroc project please visit their YouTube channel and their website.
Please feel free to invite friends, co-workers, and fellow networkers to our free event on July 15th.
Regards,
Charles A. Jensen
