JOHN McCAIN Memorial Day Weekend

May 31, 2010 at 8:13 PM MST

It’s Memorial Day Weekend, a time to honor and remember those who died for the country and the freedoms we love and cherish.

On Saturday, Sen. McCain spent time in Tucson sharing in the Rita Ranch Family Fun Day and he also held a East Tucson Town Hall.

On Sunday, Sen. McCain spoke at a Memorial Weekend ceremony in Prescott at the Bob Stump VA Hosptial, where he presented Army veteran Ward Farley with seven medals Farley earned – but never
actually received – serving in World War II.

Senator McCain finished off the weekend today in Flagstaff with a ceremony at the Flagstaff Citizens Cemetery and a visit to the American Legion Post. In addition, Senator McCain visited Fire Stations in each city to thank our first responders, and listen to their needs.

In case you missed any of the events, you can check out all of the pictures below.

Thanks to everyone for coming out and our heart felt appreciation goes out to all that have paid the ultimate price for each of us... we honor you this weekend and throughout the year. Happy Memorial Day!

Thank you McCain and every other man and woman who has served our AMAZING Nation!!! I could not be more honored to live here and respect the service folks more then words. I get chills when I see someone in their camo, it really makes me weak to know what strength they have. McCain, you have my vote. JD has nothing on you and he is so unethical and so corrupt, the voters see that-

Just another reason why my vote will go to John McCain. He honors peoples acheivements while JD distorts them.

what is important to remember here that John McCain spent the weekend connecting with the community and JD as usual focused on tearing it down.

Thats exactly how I view JD. He will only divide this state if elected. We are diverse community who don't need fringe polotics.
