Jim Waring Gathers Another Major Endorsement, Gaining Momentum



Phoenix, AZ June 29th, 2010 – Jim Waring, candidate for Congressional District 3, announced today that he has received the endorsement of the Arizona Police Association.



“Mr. Waring has been a true supporter of the citizens of Arizona and the law enforcement community in particular. He has provided the association with a clear understanding of the social and economic issues facing this country and has provided us with a clear statement of position on where he will be on several major issues,” said Executive Director Brian Livingston.



The Association’s statement went on to read, “endorsing Mr. Waring recognizes and appreciates his long support for the law enforcement community, his commitment to conservative budgetary principles and his willingness to discuss his views on national law enforcement and border security, international affairs, and the current national budget. The association believes Sen. Waring’s accomplishments at the state level, as a member of the legislature, is a true indicator of what type of legislator he will be in Washington as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives.



Waring added, “I am honored to have the support of the Arizona Police Association. They are an important part of our Arizona’s safety network."


The Arizona Police Association, is an association that represents 18 individual police, detention, correction and border patrol associations and which counts approximately 9000 individual members from across the great state of Arizona.


Jim Waring has also received endorsements and PAC support from the Arizona Association of Realtors, Arizona Builders Alliance, Arizona Credit Union League & Affiliates, and American Dental PAC.
