Blackmail, Another Failed Policy? By HJS

I would like to discuss our immigration policies, past and future, but I ran into a small problem. The vocabulary that the administrations use matches ours in spelling and sound, but the meaning is sometimes private to them, while we are supposed to believe they are using conventional meanings—every day meanings. The term comprehensive, for example simply means dealing with all relevant details of an issue. The Leftists and others in this country (bleeding hearts) know that the word amnesty is a very bad word to real Americans, so they hide it in the word comprehensive, believing we are not bright enough to know that. I have noted over the years that in about 95 percent of the cases, when you see the word comprehensive used by government people, you can bet the farm it usually means something you are not going to like.

The naughty boys in the universities and government also like to use the term undocumented workers. They really want you to forget that they are ILLEGALLY here, do not belong here, and thus are ALIENS. And they like to insist that they are only taking jobs Americans won’t do. Poppycock! You think that Americans won’t take all those construction jobs illegal aliens are filling? What about all the labor jobs in Oregon taken by illegal aliens that put an American labor company (owned by a handicapped person, by the way) into bankruptcy? All across the country, illegal aliens have been given priority status by some businesses and agents of political parties. One might think that they are our replacements!
The administration wants more illegal aliens in to take jobs that are available—and we have millions of workers unemployed! That does not compute! How can they say that we need more aliens to work in one sentence; and in the next sentence say they are working on trying to get jobs for Americans. One or the other sentence has to be
a lie. But then, what is new? Incidentally, I lived in Berlin, Germany and listened to the German Communists say the same things about the Turks—they are only taking jobs that Germans won’t do. It was BS then and the odor has not changed any here.

It seems to me that the present administration is still practicing the same type of extortion that characterized the border philosophy of previous administrations. They are still using the tired, old name of “Comprehensive Immigration Package”, which we now know is their code for Amnesty! So, when you analyze what this present administration wants, judging from what we have seen in the past, there appear to be only two rules: Rule 1, do not close the border; Rule 2, under no circumstances violate Rule 1.

We usually are told that the border can not be closed until
first we agree to amnesty (comprehensive something or other). So, once we have welcomed in 40-50 million unwanted and unneeded illegal aliens, our replacements, then the government hacks can determine whether or not the border truly needs to be closed.
Why close the barn door when all the horses have gone? Of course, the people who speak for the administration or the Left seem to enjoy saying they are only talking about 12 million absolutely necessary workers. Is it a lie if they make themselves believe it? And then there are “anchor babies” and all those relatives. And don't forget Hamas, Hizbullah, and Al-Qaida--and whoever Chavez wants to send in, carrying in who-knows what.

And now, guess what? If we agree to the con (that is what it seems to be), and see all those millions of people marching in, taking American jobs, and taking our seats in the universities, and probably congress, more than fulfilling our part of the evil bargain, the administration still will not close the borders.
Perhaps they may even admit, if they bother talking to us at all, that closing the borders really was not part of the plan from the first. Welcome to Marxist Europe II! Perhaps Islam is not the only governmental system that creates
Dhimmis.

You know, our Leftists have seen every form of Leftism fail: communism, socialism, Marxism, Marx-Leninism, and everything in between. They have all failed from the time of the French Revolution to the present. Dammit! It is a failed system! It was never any good for anyone; it never will be! James Burnham said it decades ago, that once leftists establish their doctrine on anything, it transcends both logic and reality. So, you can never argue with them; if reality and logic makes no difference, what is left? Tar, feathers, and a rail? And our new immigration policy will be decided by people who really should be chased out of town?
