Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) said yesterday that he doesn't think we should try Faisal Shahzad, the man who allegedly attempted to set off a bomb in Times Square, in New York City.
McCain has been very outspoken in his opposition to trying 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed in New York, and Larry King asked on his show last night whether he feels the same way about Shahzad.
"We know that if you have one of these trials in New York City, it's a couple hundred million dollars in security," McCain said. "We all know that New York City is one of the prime targets for acts of terror."
When King asked him where he would try him, McCain responded: "I think we could get a change of venue for him, most anyplace."
