John McCain Submits Signatures to Run for Re-Election

Senator John McCain Files Over 16,000 Signatures!

On Friday, Senator McCain turned in 16,070 petition signatures to qualify for the August 24th Primary Ballot. Surrounded by supporters and members of the media, Senator McCain and Cindy McCain thanked everyone for their support and took questions from reporters about Immrigation Reform and the Arizona Primary Election.

A special thank you to all the Arizonans that took the time to sign Senator McCain's petition and help him qualify for the August 24th ballot. You are just one example of the tremendous grassroots support that Senator McCain has seen expand over the last few months.

On another note, yesterday the campaign announced that we are expanding our campaign with offices opening in Lake Havasu City, Mesa, Prescott, Tucson and Yuma.
Check back for more updates on these offices in the days ahead. You can read the full press release here.
Below are a few photos from the peition event.

Running against a blowhard like JD Hayworth, I cannot imagine this being a tight primary! JD is far from the values and intelligence we need or want in Washington or Arizona.
