WESTERN GROWERS ENDORSES MCCAIN FOR RE-ELECTION TO THE U.S. SENATE
PHOENIX, AZ – U.S. Senator John McCain’s re-election campaign today announced that the Western Growers Association has endorsed Senator John McCain for re-election to the United States Senate.
“We are endorsing Senator McCain at this early stage of the election season because he has shown tremendous courage, determination and extraordinary leadership skills in supporting the policies and principles valued by Western Growers’ members in Arizona and California,” said Western Growers President and CEO Tom Nassif.
“Throughout his career, Senator McCain has consistently promoted pragmatic fiscal policies, free markets and stood up as an advocate for common sense repairs to our broken immigration system.”
“While our Board rarely entertains primary endorsements, they showed no hesitation in offering their endorsement for Senator McCain during this critical primary challenge,” said Robby Barkley, Western Growers Chairman of the Board and President and CEO of Barkley Ag Enterprises LLP in Yuma, Arizona. “He understands and supports our industry, and he is the right man to represent Arizona's specialty crop interests in the halls of our nation’s Capitol.”
“I am honored to have the endorsement of Western Growers, whose members are such a vital economic force for Arizona and our nation,” said Senator John McCain. “I look forward to working with them as we fight to get our economy back on track and create the jobs Arizona needs today.”
Western Growers is an agricultural trade association whose members from Arizona and California grow, pack and ship ninety percent of the fresh fruits, nuts and vegetables grown in California and seventy five percent of those commodities in Arizona. This totals about half of the nation’s fresh produce.

Yet another respectable endorsement for McCain. McCain continue to rake in many, many endorsements, and is is by no mistake as to why! He is the best candidate for this position. We need his fight against this liberal administration to remain in Washington!
JD, where are your endorsements?? NONE??? or NOBODY respectable at least! JD has always been and will always been a lying blowhard with nothing to offer our state or Nation. As the once voted dumbest member in Congress, the people of AZ do not want a repeat in that vote!
