From the McCain Campaign:
PHOENIX, AZ — U.S. Senator John McCain’s re-election campaign today released the following statement by Senate Republican Whip Jon Kyl calling on ex-Congressman J.D. Hayworth to immediately apologize and take down his new online ad insulting Senator McCain running on the Drudge Report:
"Ads like this have no place in the Republican primary, and J.D. Hayworth should immediately take it down and apologize." --
Senate Republican Whip Jon Kyl
But in the first hour it was up on Drudge, Rose said it brought in about $3,000. Sure, that's only an hour, and McCain may well have helped promote the ad.
But at that kind of fundraising pace, Hayworth should be competitive financially with McCain by 2015
-- maybe 2014 if he really steps it up.
And Hayworth's Money Bomb is turning out to be just that...a BOMB! (All they - "Rose & Associates - Arpaio, Thomas - are doing is helping McCain raise more $$$ this weekend will be HUGE for McCain fundraising!)
And the best part, now that he is a candidate, Hayworth is going to have to report EVERYTHING instead of hiding it like with the 'FIT Trust'. But soon, the TRUTH will be told! Stay Tuned!

I don't think McCain has anything to worry about. However, this ad is extremely distasteful and when I first saw it I immediately got the Native American connection. I can't believe his campaign was actually serious in going through with this. Shame on JD!
ONLY 3,000!!!!! Wow, at least he MAY have paid for the actual spot on television. With those pathetic fund raising numbers, JD has no chance of raising the money needed to defend his morally pathetic past. He is a failure in Washington one time, none of us need to see a failure in Washington two times. If JD lost his seat again to a DEM, the entire Republican party would be hurt.
This is typical JD Hayworth, the constant bashing of McCain yet nothing about himself. There is no question as to why he cannot talk about himself and why he would be the better candidate, b/c he is NOT the better choice, and even JD knows that. JD was in Washington and earned the title 'dumbest member of congress' and it is by no accident his peers do not respect him and do not endorse him!
Now that Hayworth is a 'candidate' he has to abide by certain rules. This phony baloney "Money Bomb" BS is hilarious. Jason Rose at it again! Was I right in my 2010 predictions: ALL of Rose's Political Clients taking a total Nose Dive.
Notice the GOP logo in Hayworth's ad? The Arizona Republican Party CLAIMS they own it; I got a call from the AZ GOP Lawyer Lee Miller over the dispute earlier this year on the Politics On The Rocks logo at the time. The RNC was going to sue over that. Are they going to sue JD Hayworth? Stay Tuned...this is getting fun!
