STATEMENT BY FORMER MARICOPA COUNTY ATTORNEY RICK ROMLEY
PHOENIX, AZ – U.S. Senator John McCain’s re-election campaign today released the following statement by former Maricopa County Attorney Rick Romley asking ex-Congressman J.D. Hayworth to keep his pledge to full transparency and order the immediate disclosure of contributors’ names and dollar amounts given to his FIT Trust, the trust set up to pay his legal bills stemming from his involvement with the convicted felon lobbyist Jack Abramoff:
“Ex-Congressman J.D. Hayworth has always advocated full transparency in campaign contributions, and today he should live up to his rhetoric. Mr. Hayworth should immediately order his FIT Trust, the trust set up to pay off the hundreds of thousands of dollars
he owes his lawyers for his involvement with convicted felon Jack Abramoff, to release the names of all contributors to the trust and the dollar amounts given, as well as the total amount he was obligated to pay his lawyers and any current balance owed.
Arizonans need to be assured that Mr. Abramoff and his associates have not been contributing to pay off Mr. Hayworth's legal fees. Now is the time for Mr. Hayworth to come clean.”

We have had enough of dirty, crooked politicians. No thanks JD! Go get your job back on the radio, you are NOT WORTHY of a Congressional seat!
"Haven't we had enough?" YES!!!!! JD seriously needs to step down. It should be against the law for thieves, liars and crooks to run for Senate. We need someone we can trust, someone who won't steal and someone who's not corrupt. Say NO to JD and YES to McCain!
JD Hayworth has too many moral and ethical failures to represent Arizona in Congress. JD had a chance for 12 years in Washington, in those years he was given a few names, boozer, blowhard and dumbest member of Congress...AZ, this is NOT who we want representing us!
John McCain has fought against this Obama adminstration and we need to keep him there. JD Hayworth has his focus on trying to pay off his legal bills from Abramoff and he needs to sort all that out, his morals and ethics and corruption are too much for us to vote for. McCain is who we need to fight against Obamanation.
JD is just another bone headed, greedy, politician concerned with nothing but his own agenda. We don't need anymore of that in Washington!!!
