TOM HORNE RAISES $205,000 SO FAR FOR AG RACE!

The Arizona Capitol Times & The Arizona Guardian are reporting that two-term Superintendent of Public Schools TOM HORNE has already raised $205,000 for his run for Arizona Attorney General!

Horne, who is running Traditional, is expecting to raise over $500,000 for the Primary. His likely competitor, Maricopa County Attorney ANDREW THOMAS is already collecting $5.00 contributions for Clean Elections.

Last Friday Judge Roslyn Silver ruled that the Matching Funds provision of the [Clean Elections] Act violates the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution because it opens up new avenues for possible corruption in the electoral process.

With that ruling, anyone running Clean in the AG race will be limited to $183,311.00 (that would give Jason Rose about $1.00 per Tweet).

Political insiders are wondering what will happen first. If Thomas will resign to run for AG or be indicted? Stay Tuned this is getting interesting.
