RNC - Your Call Can Make the Difference

** URGENT CALL TO ACTION **

After months working in secret behind closed doors, Harry Reid this week finally unveiled his 2,074-page government-run health care plan. His plan would increase health care premiums, increase taxes on families and small businesses by half a trillion dollars, cut Medicare by another half trillion dollars, and allow federal funds to be used for abortions.
Click here for 10 things you should know about the bill.

Harry Reid has scheduled a critical vote this Saturday night that will allow the Senate to take-up his bill. If that vote succeeds, Harry Reid will be dangerously close to finally imposing President Obama's government-run health care scheme on America.

Two Democrat Senators - Ben Nelson (D-NE) and Blanche Lincoln (D-AR) - are critically important to defeating Saturday's vote. The RNC urges every concerned citizen to call Sens. Ben Nelson and Blanche Lincoln TODAY and tell them to vote against Harry Reid's liberal bill when it comes up for a vote on Saturday.

This is the best opportunity there will be to stop President Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi from imposing their government-run health care plan on America. Again, please call Sens. Ben Nelson and Blanche Lincoln TODAY and tell them to vote against Harry Reid's health care bill when it comes up for a vote on Saturday.

Perhaps I am wrong in this belief, but I have no information to the contrary. The RNC is ineffective in taking the fight to the Democrats.

The country is at a point in history where economics and political philosophy are being discussed unlike it has since the introduction of the Progressive Movement at the turn of the last century.

Our politicians are positioned to bankrupt the country with unrestrained spending. The Republican Party is almost without a voice. It needs to seize the moment, but the Republican Party can’t seem to get organized enough to make a difference the public can understand.

The leadership of the RNC needs to help the Party construct a clear direction, but it doesn’t seem to have leadership to be able to develop a strategy.

I was talking with a number of my friends, fellow Republicans, yesterday and none of us could come up with one recent event where the RNC took a clear roll in leadership. The election in the NY 23rd District is an example where the RNC took the wrong path and resulted in a defeat for both Republicans and Conservatives.

I recommend that the RNC produce some clear, meaningful leadership. For example, mount active campaigns, with national exposure, to unseat some of the Democrat leadership, such as, Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, Harry Reid, and John Dingell. If you took the fight to the Democrats with a clear message, people would begin to understand that the RNC and the Republican Party want to lead.

If the RNC used its money to mount campaigns with national exposure for candidates who stand against the spending policies of Pelosi and Reid and the corruption of Frank and Dingell, the RNC would put the Democrats on the defensive across the country. The policies of these Democrat ringleaders are bad for the country for many reasons. Exposing these politicians nationally will make other Democrats back away from reckless policies and misdeeds.

As far as my friends and I can see, the Republicans and RNC are taking the easy way out, that is, letting Rush, Glen Beck, and Hannity do the work the RNC should be doing. You ask for my money, but what are you doing with the contributions you are receiving? If you think making a list of nine on your website makes a difference you are sadly mistaken. We recommend that you run ads on network television explain why these policies are bad and telling about corruption and graft. Run these ads with shows such as ‘Dancing with Stars’ and other popular shows. Get the message out everyday of the week. We have less than twelve months to change the imbalance in Congress, and I am telling you we think the RNC is asleep. If you did things people can see and attacked the Democrats on their home turf people will donate. Do you think that people gave more money to Obama than Hillary because he advertised on a website? No, they gave money because he kept his message for “Change” in front of the common man.

Sara Palin said it best in her interview with Hannity, “It was up to the party and the leaders to point out the problems with Obama not Hannity, Rush, and Glen Beck.” Listen to her because she is right. It is your responsibility to exert leadership.

This is a war for the hearts and minds of the American people. Fight it to win.
