Every year Senator McCain has lead the fight again wasteful government spending and pork barrel projects in Washington DC.
In an effort to shine a light on this problem Senator McCain recently highlighted some of the most offensive items from the Senate Floor.
Here’s just a sample of some of the projects:
1. $1,000,000 for “Hawaii’s Living Seascape Improvement”
2. $1,000,000 to Thunder Bay Museum in MI – Recipient of 6 earmarks in the last 5 years for $6,000,000 in taxpayer dollars spent on building schooner & shipwreck exhibits
3. $2,250,000 for University of Hawaii for “coral research”
4. $300,000 for Texas A&M for “Texas Height Modernization”
5. $150,000 to renovate an Opera House in Connecticut
Once again Senator McCain will be hosting town halls throughout Arizona. He will provide an update on the events in Washington and answer your questions. Please come down to join us and bring your questions.
