The Next 1,000 Days – Funding Arizona Education During an Economic Meltdown
How can our schools survive without funding?
Valley Citizens League asked the question – “How do you continue to fund Arizona education during an economic meltdown for the next 1,000 days?”
To attempt to answer that question, VCL has lined up a panel of key players involved in crafting the solution:
Panelists: Superintendant Tom Horne, Arizona Department of Education; Senator John Huppenthal, Chair, Senate Education Committee; Representative David Lujan, Minority Leader of the House and member of the Phoenix Union School Board and John Wright, President of the Arizona Education Association.
