Why cant you people start thinking for yourselves! Talk about morons anyone who voted for John Mccain and Sarah Palin have got to be the stupidest people on this earth. I am so outraged by the ignorance and downright idiotic antics of 30% of this country who think they are the majority because they yell louder and carry weapons. Well I have an AR also but I am not stupid enough to carry it out in public. Bush and Compnay almost destroyed this Great nation of Ours and Obama is bringing it back from the brink of implosion. I am glad that you all will enjoy the fruits of his labors because what I have gotten from the criminal Bush administration is NOTHING. A runaway deficit (You forget he created this monster) and a Once Great Country On its Knees. Well we will again be prosperous and you will also, WHY because of OBAMA!

Oh 1 More Thing - The Sopranos are DEMOCRATS and admired JFK if you have half a brain and watched the series you would know that. Not that that is anything to be PROUD of. I am PROUD though of a President who knows how to lead and People in Power who can actually SPEAK THE TRUTH.

Remember Plan D which raised drug prices by 60% for everyone, and ended the ability of state medicaid to negotiate for lower drug prices or reimport lower priced drugs from Canada and forbidding Medicare to negotiate lower prices on drugs (the 60% raise in price). That had no public option.

The bill was reported to Congress to cost $90 billion and instead, was $400 billion. Thomas Scully was convicted of lying to Congress (look it up). Plan D (also known as MMA 2003) was passed unfunded. Why didn't Republicans complained then?

No wonder the GOP doesn't trust government with their record.

BTW the same polls showing Obama is slipping, further on down showed approval for the Republican plan was at .... 16%.

Obama slipped because he sounded softer on the public option. Not the reverse. That should also prove there isn't a liberal bias in media since many of these things continue to go under reported.

It's easy to validate "grassroots" are sponsored by healthcare companies p.r. firms. Tea baggers and birthers were not an average campaign.

The most revealing is a 93 memo from Wm. Kristol to Republican's on defeating Clinton's plan (it's online if you know how to google). In it he admits 80% want significant change, including Medicare for all.

But are Republican's worried about representing voters or the health of the economy or finding solutions? No. They are worried about ideology and DEFEATING DEMOCRATS.

The memo continues on to advise them not to argue the plan based on merits because that will only lead to concessions and compromise. He suggests calling it "socialism", "rationing", and a few other scary words. Sound familiar?

The latest Republican memo - also available on Google as a scan, calls for "ratteling speakers" and not allowing anyone to ask or answer questions. So much for free speech. If the shoe were on the other foot, protesters wouldn't even be allowed into a town hall. They'd be off in a square block "free speech zone".

This is still the party of "no". It could be healthcare or garbage collection and Republican's still would not vote for a bill that originated with Democrats.

The Blue Dogs were formed in '95, buy a Republican! They head every committee developing legislation and have accepted the most health industry money of the Democrats. The Clinton plan must have scared someone good to start hedging bets on both parties.

Words like socialism have been used against healthcare reform since Truman. They've lost their impact.

I'm much more concerned with the form of economy wall street considers "smart" (like China) which I call communism.
