The Arizona Diamondbacks open the 2009 MLB season today @ Chase Field vs the Colorado Rockies. D-Backs Ace BRANDON WEBB , former Cy Young Award Winner (who should have won last year), takes the mound.
This young D-Backs team should be pretty good this season; starting pitching is the strength of this team and should be the best in the NL West. Key is to get the young hitters, JUSTIN UPTON, TOM REYNOLDS, & STEPHEN DREW to continue to grow.
Getting ERIC BYRNES back from injury may be a huge key. As Byrnes goes, so go the D-Backs!
