THANKS GOVERNOR FOR REPEALING NAPOLITANO UNION PAYOFF ORDER
Phoenix, AZ - Arizonans In Action (AIA) Executive Director Nathan Nascimento today declared victory for the taxpayers of Arizona and thanked Governor Brewer for rescinding the Napolitano pay-to-play meet and confer executive order issued back in December before Napolitano left office.
"This is a great day for the taxpayers of Arizona. Before former Governor Napolitano left office, she paid her debts to the union bosses for their money, muscle, and support during her tenure by issuing an executive order allowing for unions to get a foothold in state government and become a drain on the taxpayers," said Nascimento.
Nascimento pointed out that AIA early on began asking questions concerning the move by Napolitano releasing a
to Governor Brewer asking her to rescind the Napolitano executive order.
"We saw an overwhelming response to our petition. Taxpayers from across the state were voicing their concerns about the Napolitano executive order and wanting to know what Governor Brewer was going to do about it. People were upset and wanted answers," said Nascimento.

"We know Governor Brewer saw that this issue was important
to Arizonans, felt the support of our members, and was able to come to a decision reaffirming Arizona as a right to work state."
"Governor Brewer, by rescinding this order, has protected the rights of state workers, preserved the voice of the taxpayers, and restored honor and integrity back to the office of governor."
