1) Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid claimed today on the Senate floor to have the votes needed to pass the Porkulus Bill. He also said the Senate would be “burning the midnight oil” to pass this legislation.

Make those calls or send those faxes and e-mails TONIGHT.

2) Republican (?) Susan Collins of Maine said today that she met with President Obama yesterday and he convinced her that at least $800 billion of wasteful spending was needed to avoid a catastrophe for the economy.
