I AM.......Bob Haran

Every family, workplace or group of associates has one – whether they admit it or not.

The proverbial “black sheep” live amongst us but not with us. They exist in their own parallel universe where reality has no firm grip on anything but the time of day. To some families or groups, these black sheep might be known as “losers, mooches or tweakers”. In other groups, the sheep are said to be “special, crazy, or paranoid”. In still other places, these sheep “are OFF their meds, march to the beat of their own drummer, come from another planet or have beautiful minds.”

In the tightly-knit world of local politics, the familial “black sheep” can mow down years worth of lush green grass and new growth in record breaking time; turning a gorgeous garden into an ugly patch of dirt that won’t take new seed but will grow thousands of weeds. Over time, every political association has enabled the behavior of a few black sheep, to the point of no return. It has been taboo for anyone to attempt to redirect the kamikaze sheep away from the very hands that feed them.

Time for what's known in group therapy as TOUGH LOVE. This CANNOT go on in the State of Arizona’s Republican Party any longer. As of TODAY, the curse is broken…the TABOO is gone. Prayers have been answered. The sheep will be tended to by the shepherds responsible and if need be, they will end up on the dinner buffet table.

One such “black sheep” has grazed his last solo feeding frenzy throughout the high deserts of LD-6 in North Phoenix. He’s a legend in his own mind, a kind of chameleon who changes color but not his skin. He is one of the Wackos, then he's not. They love him, they hate him.....they always laugh at him. He has publicly threatened physical harm and confrontations on numerous people. He’s been barred from posting with the Arizona Republic because of his propensity to violence, hate speech and paranoia. He is BOB HARAN.

Bob Haran has written racist comments in publications and blogs but cannot understand what’s wrong with calling a young black man a slave, Oreo or Uncle Tom. He will verbally assassinate anyone who dares to disagree with him on the topic of the day. This local black sheep has moments of child-like innocence, melancholy and remorse followed by fits of rage. He pathetically tries to seek out nurturing mentors when he is experiencing feelings of hopelessness and worthlessness. He tries to scare the bejeebies out of people - the same week he’s trying to score a date with a lady. (Lock your doors and don’t answer the phone girls!)

He claims allegiance but his life and actions show otherwise. He’s an American citizen and claims to be a Christian conservative yet he shows no love or mercy. Two things he is for sure…..extremely unstable and untrustworthy. He cannot continue to serve the good people of LD-6. We demand he be allowed his delusional existence without officially representing the AZ GOP.

Here is a wonderful example of one of our shepherds keeping watch and a short leash on the "kamikaze sheep" of LD-6, Baaaaaab Haran:

Dear Bob,

This is personal and in response to your E-mail Blast to the Precinct Committee Men in our District. As you chose to tell everyone within the reach of your keyboard, how you misunderstood our most recent message, and how you misinterpret the spirit of the message, permit me to set the record really straight on the same playing field.

If you had read the header of the message twice, and then called me for clarification, if you still had not gotten it, this all would not be necessary.

The header read: " On behalf of Chairman Braswell and the elected Officers of LD-6 I am pleased to forward to you for your information and perusal the endorsement letter from Speaker Adams and Senate President Burns." Nothing else was implied or expressed. It was your and anyone else's option to remain uninformed, obviously, or not to peruse, understandably.

Permit me to remind you, that all Republican Partisan announcements that leave my desk top are send on "Behalf of the Chairman and the Officers of LD-6" unless otherwise identified, or personalized.

Any factual message, that is requested by any legitimate Republican Committee to be disseminated among our PC's or SCM's, as matter of information is being dealt with in a "Without-Comment" way and without prejudice.and forwarded as such in a matter of Information and Perusal. That means, at your option you may feel informed or not and you may peruse or not.

The Leadership of LD-6 has ever since its inception decreed not to take collaterally sides with any candidate against another candidate of the same party in any election. It is not an accident that you will be hard pressed to find an endorsement for either Candidates with my elected title attached to my name. The same holds true for the Chair, the first Vice Chair and our Treasurer.

Due to our commitment to total transparency, we have and we will forward, or copy to you and any other PC, any and all communications that we receive and deem worthy of dissemination to our member without comment or prejudice for all your information and perusal.

As a Group, or as an entity, the Leadership of LD-6 stays committed to remain neutral when candidates of the same party run for the same position. We explicitly trust the judgment of our members after they are able to consider the facts as presented to them to act and vote on their own.

I'll bet you a steak dinner she won't. And if she does, it will in all likelihood be shown in print, twisted like a witches broom.
