In a short excerpt from a recent White House interview with his sister, Doro Bush Koch of StoryCorps, President George W. Bush reflects on his faith, the safeguarding of his soul and his Presidential legacy. In either a spiritual awakening or a fearful dance with the Devil, Bush twice justifies the status of his eternal soul in the wake of the current events. When asked how he would like to be remembered, he said, "I would like to be a person remembered as a person who, first and foremost, did not sell his soul in order to accommodate the political process." He also said that his father taught him that "....you don't have to sell your soul once you're in the political system."
Fresh off a round of Presidential pardons, Bush vindicates and pardons his very own soul? That's scary stuff.
Does the Devil need a $700 Billion Bailout in the "Soul Securities" market? Could Bush be having flashbacks of the "rich frat boys playing Devil dress-up" rituals of Yale's Skull & Bones secret society? Now he's the one in the sarcophagus while Paulson, Bernanke, Bair, Pelosi, Bin Laden, Chavez and Obama circle 'round in dark, hooded cloaks.
Maybe Old No. 7 is phoning home. Or, the unthinkable has occurred....he feels like shit (or he's been convicted of his sins - depends on the day) because of what has happened under his watch. It's about time.

Great Article Ghost! Without the $700B Boondoggle Bill, John McCain would have been the President-Elect instead of that moron B. Hussein Obama.
