Well, we did it again. In an election environment that was downright ugly for Republicans, we managed another election victory last night in Arizona's sixth Congressional District!
I cannot thank you enough for the critical and continuing support you provided my campaign these past two years. Whether it was putting up signs, stuffing envelopes, making phone calls, making financial contributions, writing letters to the editor (and in some cases, all of the above), so much help was given, and I deeply appreciate it.
We have a difficult two years ahead. Republicans are now faced with a Democrat in the White House and diminished numbers in the House and Senate.
But I'm convinced that, if we can recommit ourselves to first principles - limited government and economic freedom - we can get the country back on our side and blunt the government excesses that are surely coming our way in order to come roaring back in two years! Together, we will play an active role in rebuilding the Republican Party in Arizona and across the country.
