Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce endorses Bee

In troubled economic times, the Tucson Chamber looks to Bee for leadership

Tucson, AZ – The Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce strengthened Tim Bee’s stature as the Congressional candidate that is best suited to face America’s economic challenges. The Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce joins the July endorsement of the U.S Chamber of Commerce.

“America’s prosperity and strength begins with a strong economy; and a strong economy depends on effective leadership in Congress. Our nation is facing a serious financial crisis with consequences that are potentially grave and far-reaching. But our economic problems didn’t materialize from thin air. Failed leadership in Congress got us into this precarious situation, and it will take new leadership to get us out.” said Bee.

“We must change course in Washington. As President of the State Senate, I’ve dealt with difficult economic times, balancing a budget and making the tough decisions to move Arizona forward. I’ve worked hard to keep taxes low and foster economic development, and I’m ready to do it again in Washington.”

Senate President Tim bee is committed to making the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts permanent, repealing the death tax and alternative minimum tax, simplifying the tax code, and stopping wasteful spending.

The Associated Press described Senator Bee as a “bridge-builder between parties,” and the Arizona Daily Star called Bee as a “magnet for bi-partisan praise”. Bee built consensus in tackling the tough issues that matter most to Southern Arizonans:

Spearheaded the largest tax cuts in Arizona history.

Delivered the largest-ever funding increase for Arizona classrooms and teachers.

Invested in Southern Arizona priorities such as Tucson’s downtown redevelopment, Pima County’s transportation needs, university programs that will create local jobs, and a regional trauma center and veterans home.

Led the fight to appropriate $135 million over five years for the Science Foundation Arizona program and invested over $400 million in biosience research infrastructure and TGen.

Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, those good old boys who fought to allow people to continue hiring illegal aliens. Of course they would support a Republican like Tim "The Bobble-Head" Bee, neither have any credibility.
