Apparently, the mainstream media feels that if they say Obama has won, their wish will come true. Call me old-fashioned, but I've always thought we should vote before we pick a winner.
John McCain and Sarah Palin are still in this fight; I don't believe the naysayers and neither should you. Get to work and help Republicans win!
Here in the Third District of Arizona, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) hopes that if they keep telling the same lies, and pour a whole lot of money on them, they might come true!
The DCCC is pulling their money out of television ads in Congressional Districts 1 and 5 and focusing all their
attention and financial resources for the state right here in CD3 - I'm hearing it will be somewhere between $600,000 and $800,000 in additional attack ads against me by the DCCC.
Heck, with that much money, we could end the real estate slump in Maricopa County! I'm flattered.
But their negative tactics aren't going to get them anywhere. The people of Arizona know my record; that's why they keep sending me back to Congress. They know I fight to give Arizona's values a strong voice in Washington.
And, they know that Washington liberals like Nancy Pelosi and Barney Frank, who are funding Bob Lord's campaign, will never put Arizona first. In the next week, national Democrats and the mainstream media will continue their attempts to demoralize Republicans, claiming this race is over.
And, Bob Lord and the DCCC will shower us with their latest cookie-cutter ads, chockfull of lies and out of context quotes. We can't let them get us down; none of it's true. Imagine, proving that elections can't be decided before they occur and that Arizona's elections can't be bought by out of state politicians will make our victory next Tuesday even sweeter.
