Dear Friends,
I have taken the last 7 days to reflect on my bid for elected office. I have always done my best to take my time in finalizing my thoughts on important issues.
I have taken the last 7 days to reflect on my bid for elected office. I have always done my best to take my time in finalizing my thoughts on important issues.
This campaign run is no different. I have learned much about myself and others throughout this campaign run. I have also learned that every legal citizen has the ability to bring about discussion, reflection and possibly change on the political system.
The political arena is not for the faint of heart and has changed many people. If I run again in the future for elected office, I pledge to not be changed by the process but pledge to be a candidate that will stand firm on my beliefs and try to change the system. I was so encouraged by the people who came along our side to help in the campaign. I knew when I turned in the official paperwork at the Secretary of State’s office in April that God would have to bring people and the resources to make this campaign a legitimate one. He did not disappoint. I thank Him for YOU.
I have to give special thanks to Representative Doug Clark, Chris Baker and my wife Allison. Doug was instrumental in indoctrinating me into the process and giving advice and friendship. Chris was another sage voice that helped guide me during the process. Finally, I have to thank my wife for being such a rock of support and love. I am unsure what the future has in store for me; but having gone through a battle with cancer and coming out the other side in remission, I don’t worry about tomorrow since it is not promised.
I encourage all of you to be thankful for today, believe tomorrow will be better and commit yourself to making a positive difference in a way that uses your given talents.
God Bless and thank you for your support. Please feel free to pass this email on to those who may not have gotten it.

Dear Tony - Your graciousness in the face of so much viciousness at the last LD 6 meeting is an indication of your beliefs in our American system of government. I often weonder what happened to our "citizen's legislature" as we are supposed to have here in AZ? I wish you luck in your next endeavor. Bev
Tony Bouie is a class act.
The entire state of Arizona missed out on having Tony Bouie serve the people in this election cycle.
I hope that the "powers that be" in the GOP realize that a gifted young man was targeted by a hit squad of rogue elephants. After they realize this, I'm sure that they will find a place within the GOP that Tony can call home and that will welcome the insight he will bring.
