Is the MCRC & the PAChyderm Coalition one & the same group? This Press Release sent out yesterday was quickly pulled and a second e-mail sent asked people to delete the first e-mail.
Have these two organizations "magically" morphed into the same? Good Question?

Republican Party and Pachyderm Coalition Endorse Candidates for County Hospital, Community College Boards
The Maricopa County Republican leadership and the Pachyderm Coalition endorsed a slate of conservative candidates running for the County Hospital and the Community College Boards during their Wednesday evening meetings.
Candidates endorsed by both groups for the County Hospital District are:
- Colette Rosati (District 3) - Nurse, MBA, and former Arizona legislator who served two terms on the house Health Committee, was endorsed over her opponent who endorsed Democrat Janet Napolitano during the governor’s race.
- Dr. Harlan Stratton (District 2) - Orthopedic Physician and long time physician advocate was endorsed over a trial lawyer because of Stratton medical background.
Both the EGC and the Coalition endorsed County Community College Candidates:
- Debra Pearson (District 3) and Paul Srch (District 4) as solid Republican candidates and education advocates`
Health Board candidate Elbert “Bick” Bicknell (District 4) - former two-term New Hampshire legislator and retired police officer received unanimous Coalition endorsement. Bicknell has received the strong backing of West Valley Republican lawmakers and legislative district chairmen, and the Wickenburg Republican Club.
He has been endorsed by the Legislative District 4 Executive Board, the LD4 Precinct Committeemen and a host of other organizations.
The Pachyderm Coalition also unanimously endorsed Health Board candidates Rex Altree (District 1) and Todd Hansen J.D. (District 5) as both business men advocate conservative fiscal stewardship and ethical business leadership.
Former MCRC EGC Chairman and former Pachyderm Coalition president Lyle Tuttle said,
“This is the best slate of candidates we have ever had. Two
years ago we identified the need to revise the Mission of the Republican Party from “electing Republicans” to “electing Republicans that support the Republican Party Platform” this slight change has had overwhelming effect on the quality of endorsements this year.”
All seven candidates signed Platform Pledges and agreed to advocate for the public and not special interests. To date the slate has collected over 40 endorsements of Republican officials and taxpayers groups; and Right to Life, Second Amendment, opposition to illegal immigration advocates throughout the valley.
