The US House of Representatives just voted on the $700M "Boondoggle" Bailout Bill. IT FAILED!!! Special Thanks to leaders like AZ Congressman JOHN SHADEGG who stood up for what is right! Shadegg should have been the Minority Leader; John Boehner SOLD US OUT and should be replaced:

So McCain suspended his candidacy for what, exactly? To make sure the market craters?
Klute had John McCain NOT stepped out and brought publicity to this 'Boondoggle", the Bill would have passed. Thank You John McCain for helping to kill this monstrosity! Where was BHO? Out campaigning. Who is the real leader? JOHN MCCAIN!!! And Klute, YOU DEMS had the votes. Many dems voted against it. YOUR peeps killed it.

This is an ad waiting to happen.
Oh man (this is from the National Review! THE NATIONAL REVIEW!):
Bad for McCain [Ramesh Ponnuru]
Not that it's the most important fallout, but this vote is very bad for McCain. He was trying to get House Republicans on board, after all, and he failed. Blaming the Democrats for the failure will not and should not work, given the ratios on both sides.
All of this is barrelling into the remainder of Palin's awful interview on CBS tonight, and then the debate on Thursday.
And the BEST part is that McCain can't drop a Ayers-Wright-Raines Bomb, because it'll look like he's dodging the issue!
Maybe it's time for Suspension II: Suspend Harder?
How many of your dem pals voted NO? 94 of them including the ENTIRE AZ Delegation. Even your peeps abandoned you Klute!
Yeah, it sucks that John McCain couldn't show more leadership and bring together more bipartisan votes for a plan he supported.
Maybe he'll parachute drop into the New York Stock Exchange and start punching stock brokers to get them to buy, buy, buy!
Klute I was watching your favorite, Neal Cavuto, this afternoon. His guest, Donald Trump. Here is what he said:
Trump: Silver Lining is Declining Oil
Monday, September 29, 2008 4:30 PM
Billionaire real estate developer Donald Trump is none too pleased with the markets, but he sees a silver lining.
Oil should be falling, Trump says, and falling fast.
“People aren’t talking about two very big issues, the war and the price of oil,” Trump told Fox Business News.
“If people knew how to speak to OPEC the proper way, the hard way, the tough way, oil would be down to $50 instead of $150,” Trump says.
There’s already far too much oil on the markets, and anybody in the oil business knows it. “They don’t know what to do with it,” Trump told Fox.
