In these pages the last few years, we have said over and over that the people of Holland are dangerously close to losing their culture and their country. It is not the only European country with these problems. After World War II, Europe was in the grip of unchecked liberalism (socialism/communism). As a result of liberal teaching and economic problems that follow this teaching, fewer couples married and even fewer allowed their babies to complete the birth cycle. This horror in turn led to fewer people left and fewer babies planned, to pay for them.
When the liberals had to choose between pulling back a little on some of their social programs and importing people from other lands, they preferred the latter, even though the latter included people of a completely different ideology. This catastrophe was the change that those liberals could believe in.
We may be the Holland of the future if we continue to follow the path of least resistance, believing only what is easy to believe and not looking beyond the wiles and the platitudes of a party that only represents itself. Too many people now embrace a party whose platform includes sacrificing everything to the god of killing babies, de-sanctifying marriage, and promoting pornography and other vices. Those are not American values. But it has been the changes the liberals wanted.
And now, please read the following cry of anguish from a desperate representative of the Dutch people, to the Dutch Parliament. He too wants change; he wants the return of his culture and his country.

This catastrophe was the change that those liberals could believe in.
The liberals could not see the ideological differences, nor did they
consider it important; after all, they loved multiculturalism and were dedicated
to the idea (never proven) that two incompatible cultures and ideologies could live side by side when one (the Dutch) is tolerant of different cultures and the other (Islam) is not. From a very early age, children in Islam are taught that people who are not believers, called infidels, are not worthy to live. Not all change is good. The miracle of Holland is that there has not been a civil war yet.
