SUNS Blow Golden Opportunity in Game 1; D-Backs win 4th Straight!

The Phoenix Suns, who lead through out the entire length of Game 1, lost to the San Antonio Spurs in Double Overtime, 117 to 115.

Suns led by as much as 16 points in the 1st half. Amaré Stoudemire had 33 points but fouled out in the 1st OT leaving the Suns short handed.

This loss falls squarely on the shoulders of Coach Mike D'Antoni. He was horribly out coached by Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich. D'Antoni, who failed to have the Suns foul with 19 seconds left in the 1st OT, up by 3 points and with a foul to give (means that SA would not have shot free throws), instead let them play defense and it allowed Tim Duncan to hit his 1st 3 point shot of the season.

If the Suns lose this series, Mike D'Antoni should be fired. His playing only 6 to 7 players in a game all season long is coming back to haunt him, just like last year. When is this guy going to learn? Suns now MUST win Game #2 in San Antonio on Tuesday.....

The 1st Place Arizona Diamondbacks won their 4th straight game Saturday, a 10 - 3 victory over the San Diego Padres.

The D-Backs, who have the Best Record in the Major Leagues, are also the youngest team. This team is well on its' way to winning another Western Division title.

The D-Backs are becoming the 'premiere' sports team in Arizona! GO D-BACKS!!!
