Republican Candidate's Economic Plan is Responsible

April 25, 2008

McCain continues to maintain his conservative vision as he proposes new and innovative ways to stabilize our nation's economy. This vision stands in stark contrast with the visions of both Democratic presidential contenders, whose economic plans endorse exorbitant taxes and increased bureaucracy.

McCain denounces the practice of excessive borrowing and deficit spending, and he will take the strong and necessary steps to reverse this behavior.

True, eliminating earmarks and wasteful spending won't fill the hole completely, but it will free up tens of billions of taxpayer dollars and is only part of his wide-ranging economic plan.
Transparency in the budget process also will allow Americans to see just how their hard-earned money is being spent and will call attention to leaks in the system.

McCain's economic plan also includes nixing corporate welfare and
closing loopholes in the system. By focusing on eliminating the budget deficit
and controlling undisciplined government spending, McCain's economic plan takes
on much more responsibility for Americans' tax dollars than the Democrats'
plans.

For USA TODAY to call McCain's plan "bad policy and crass politics" is a grave distortion of the facts of his economic agenda. His economic agenda offers Americans a comprehensive plan that will get the economy back on track as well as secure our spot on the global stage for competitiveness and innovation.

McCain's tax cuts, coupled with his strict oversight of responsible government spending, create a clear solution to America's current financial situation.

You know what might generate more traffic here? If there you went to maybe a 50/50 ratio of original commentary by the bloggers who run this, and John McCain press releases.

As it is, the 5/95 ratio is kinda dull.

Although it is hard to trumpet an almost 8 point swing in Obama's favor even after Angry-Black-Guy-Closet-Muslim-Bitter-gate.

Mr. "Klute",

I get plenty of traffic here. I am sure that positive John McCain articles are dull for you. I provide this forum to inform John McCain supporters and others who wish to support him. You can always read 'Peeing Red' or the 'Moron Alliance' if you want to hear the other side?

Hey, whatever, it's your blog. I just can't wait for the press release of "Day One of John's McCain's 'What I'm Having for Breakfast' Tour or "John McCain Takes a Long Nap for Victory!" press release.

It's just so exciting.

Bring back the crazy lady who thinks the government's placing mind control drugs in vaccines or whatever! This blog is in desperate need of comic relief.
