Arizona GOP chairman urges unity on McCain for president

From ABC Channel 15 News:

Arizona Republican Chairman Randy Pullen is urging party activists to unify behind the party's presumptive nominee, Sen. John McCain.

Many conservative Republicans have opposed McCain's candidacy, but Pullen said its clear that McCain will be the nominee and that he'll face either Hillary Rodham Clinton or Barack Obama in November.

Pullen compared some Republicans' differences with McCain to differences within a family. He says the GOP needs to unite on their many similarities instead of focusing on past differences.

He said otherwise that Republicans will hand Democrats a tremendous advantage in the general election campaign.
