Question: When is Arizona's Presidential Preference

Election?

Answer: Feb. 5.

Q: Who can vote?

A: Only registered Democrats and Republicans.

Q: Can Libertarians vote?

A: Not in Arizona. The Arizona Libertarian Party has not chosen to participate in the Presidential Preference Election.

Q: Do I have time to change my party affiliation?

A: Yes. You must re-register to vote by midnight Jan. 7.

Q: How do I register or re-register to vote?

A: Registration forms are available at city offices and post offices or your local county elections office. You may also register or re-register online at http://www.servicearizona.com/



Q: How do I vote by mail?

A: Early ballots are mailed out Jan. 10. To request an early ballot, call your county elections office or check its Web site for information. In Maricopa County, call 602-506-1511 or go to www. recorder.maricopa.gov, click on "Elections," then "Early Voting."
