CNN/YouTube GOP Presidential Debate - Tonight @ 6PM


CNN/YouTube Debate Tonight


Tonight is the first ever CNN/YouTube Republican Debate. The debate, broadcast from St. Petersburg, Florida, will air live at 8:00 p.m. EST on CNN. Be sure to tune in and watch another winning performance from John McCain!

This debate will be moderated by Anderson Cooper, but the questions are from voters all over the United States who submitted questions by video on YouTube. John McCain was the only major candidate to accept the invitation to the first debate and is excited to answer any question, straight talk style to YouTube.

Polling Update

As we approach the January primaries, polls continue to show that John McCain is the best general election candidate for the Republican party's nomination. He is not only the best candidate in the race, he is the only conservative to beat Hillary Clinton.

A new Zogby National Poll released on November 26th shows John McCain performs better than Rudy Giuliani in the general election against Hillary Clinton. McCain leads Clinton by 4 points and Giuliani leads Clinton by 3 points nationwide.

John McCain's polling numbers within individual states continue to surge, including the following states:


New Mexico: John McCain Leading Clinton, Giuliani TrailingJohn McCain leads Senator Clinton 48% to 45% and performs 7 points better than Rudy Giuliani against Clinton.


Kansas: John McCain Is Best General Election Candidate John McCain not only defeats Hillary Clinton 55% to 38%, but also performs 9 points better than Rudy Giuliani. John McCain is also the only candidate to cross the critical 50% threshold in Kansas.


Kentucky: John McCain Is Best General Election Candidate John McCain is slightly trailing Hillary Clinton 47% to 48%. Rudy Giuliani trails Clinton by a larger margin of 48% to 44%.
