Is Andrew Thomas Delusional?
In April of this year, a court-appointed panel voted unanimously to strip Andrew Thomas of his law license, finding that former County Attorney had used the resources and power of his office to bring trumped-up civil and criminal charges against his political opponents.
One might expect the disgraced prosecutor to express some measure of repentance or, at the very least, humility. Au contraire. The very next day, he declared himself a martyr in the tradition of Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King.
Now it seems Mr. Thomas, ex-Esq and some inexplicably remaining loyalists are gearing up for another season of Arrogant Andrew Assaults Arizona. Sunday afternoon, the following post appeared, albeit briefly, on Facebook:
Art,
It was great speaking to you yesterday. Thanks again for all your strong support, both in the past and the future. As I mentioned, you're welcome to let people on your email list know I've been urged to run for Governor and am considering it. To run, I would need to gather the grassroots support necessary to run effectively and win--which is why your support is tremendous.
Also, if you could add me to your email list, that would be great.
Thanks again, and I'll be back in touch. If any of your members or supporters would like to get in touch with me, they can reach me at this email address or by calling (602) 803-1586 (cell.).
Andy Thomas
Art, this is a joke, right?
