In an interview with Barbara Walters, former President Bill Clinton said:

"I think that McCain has a lot of appeal and I think that he seems to be
making a little bit of a comeback and we disagree on many things, but I
think
he's a big figure. So he might be the most electable."

Curt Schilling Endorses John McCain

Curt Schilling proudly endorsed John McCain at the "Politics and Sports" Town Hall meeting at Derryfield School in Manchester, New Hampshire this week. In front of a crowd of over 400, the Red Sox pitcher proudly told the audience that he supports John McCain because of his straight talk on the issues, his leadership in the Senate and his military experience. Schilling said. "
I think this election is going to come down to something that's been
absent for far too long and that's character and integrity."



Curt Schilling and John McCain, an avid baseball fan, have been friends since Schilling played for the Arizona Diamondbacks. They have worked together on veterans' issues over the years as well. John McCain is proud to have the endorsement of Schilling who is a strong supporter of America's active duty military and our veterans. "He inspires a lot of us with his courage," John McCain said.
